Papertrey Ink Blog Hop - March 2013

PTI has challenged us to use sequins on our projects, which I am glad of, because I wanted to try this! My sequins are the "fluff" on the dandelion, blowing away as a person blows on the dandelion, making a wish.
I apologize for the lightness of the photo--couldn't seem to get the light correct.
I used "Daydreams" stamp set, and heat embossed the flower and leaves, and used some Spellbinders ovals to frame the image. The background has been sponged using Distress inks.
Thanks for looking!

  1. Very pretty, Kathryn. I like the way you placed thew sequins to look like petals blowing away from the main flower head.

  3. Just like you blew the flower petals away. I love that the holes in the sequins match the holes in the round blossoms of the flower. Nicely framed too. Thanks for sharing your creation.
