Make it Monday, #122-Polka Dot Texture with Copics

This week, Heather has challenged us to use our Copics for colouring, and to put some spots on with the Colourless Blending pen. Funnily enough, I just made this card for my great-nephew, for his 2nd birthday, so I already had a card made for this challenge! I love it when that happens :) I must remember to mail it today...
I sponged the background, stamped some reed grass, then used "Boy Basics:Frog Hop" (PTI) for the main images. I used Copics to colour the frog, and the colourless blending pen to put the spots on his body. I added some "waves" with Copics and an opaque white pen.
Thanks for looking!
The inside says, "Have a Hoppy Day!"

  1. Love this sweet little card! The frog was the first thing that came to my mind to use as well! You beat me to it with this adorable little scene you have created.

    1. Marybeth, don't let that fact that I used the frog stop you from using it!! I'm sure it'll be quite different :)
