Make it Monday #156: 3-D Paint

Well, I finally inked up City Scene/Sentiments. I used Folk Art Acrylic craft paint to roughly (on purpose) stencil in the background. (Can't say I'm overly happy with how it turned out, but went with it, anyway.) I made a stencil using the diagonal stripes Cover Die, and cut a piece of acetate, so now I have a permanent stencil ;)
My husband is British, so I made this card for him. (IF I keep it, that is... I think I'll have to get the vertical and/or horizontal cover plates, too, as I'm not too much of a diagonal-scene-sort-of-person.)
All materials, except the white paint, are PTI. Thanks for looking!

  1. I like the diagonal direction of your card and the roughly painted stripes. In fact, I plan to try the stripes with my cover plate.

  3. Love the diagonals Kathryn. And you husband will no doubt love it too if he's anything like mine - mine loves the rustic look. And this City Scene sentiment is just perfect for a Brit!
