Make it Monday #318

It's been a long time since I had time to make a card for a Make it Monday, and I'm sad that I've missed quite a few good challenges. However, this week I had some time, and also stepped out of my comfort zone to do some stitching. Michelle has challenged us to stitch some stems, but I went a little further and put some French knots in the center of my flowers. That was a lot more difficult than the stems, as the knots wanted to pull the centers right out of the card stock! But I persevered, and put some Multi-Mat Medium on those knots so they won't come undone. I stamps I used are PTI's Flower Favourites and Keep it Simple:Mother. This will be going to my mother, who is 92. She likes bold colours, so I kept that in mind with the inks.

Thanks for looking!
