I loved Melissa's idea of masking hearts to create a card for Papertrey's challenge this week, found
here, so had to try it. I decided to make a card for my husband, so I wanted to avoid a "pretty, flowery" card, but still wanted some flowers and Valentine colours, so this is a more masculine card that I came up with. There is Wink of Stella on the white "Love" die cut.
Thanks for looking :)

ReplyDeleteThis is just so beautiful. Wonderful choice of kraft cardstock. The blossoms almost look like dried/pressed flowers and the gingham heart border along the bottom is perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh girlfriend, you are an artist!!! I need to go see what inspired the masking, but you feeling a little better? Sending lots of hugs your way š¤

ReplyDeleteYour heart wreath looks wonderful on Kraft with those great color choices!
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike as I was tempted to use a Kraft base for my heart but was afraid some of the colors would be more muted. Perfect card for your DH, Kathryn, finished beautifully with your gingham heart border. Have missed seeing your creations...hope you are OK!
