SCC2, Week 3, Day 2

I had to try one more today, using Betsy's colour blocking and die cutting technique. I also felt I was ignoring the men in my life, so I challenged myself to do a masculine card, using some old paper I've had for quite awhile. The blue paper also has some purple tones in it, so that's the purple. The aqua is the spotted paper. I die cut the centre out, then embossed the sentiment with gold powder onto the dark brown card stock, which is the card base. I like the touch of real cherry wood veneer across the middle.

Thanks for looking!

  2. What a great masculine card and it can be adapted for lots of occasions! I loved the embossing in tour previous post too - very expertly done if I may say so!
